The assigned books/pages will be dealt with day by day in class. We will discuss some works in detail, while other readings will provide context, evidence and background. It is important to read ahead so that you will be prepared to discuss and to question what is before us in class.
The Links in the 10 class outlines vary in significance, i.e., links to those sites outside this World History site. They exist to carry your own interests and/or research projects further. You may wish to scour some of these sites while others you may only glance through. But do give them a chance to catch your interest and spark your learning: As much as you learn from them, that much you win.
Links/Handouts or Discussion Topics that are in the syllabus are significant. Prepare yourself for them -- they are graded.
