This is assessment, and let it never be said that THIS college was left behind!

Following are four questions that I ask you to respond to in emails to me (Michael) and to me (Michael). Copy & paste the question from here to your email, if you like, but by all means, respond to each question in some clear and honest detail. Thank you.

1.)  One goal of this course is to apply 'Past on Present'. How has this concept and its practice in our Learning Community expanded your horizons and/or thinking -- either on themes we touched in class or on other themes that presented themselves to you? Or if nothing engaged you, please explain why not.

2.) Another goal was to help each of us in a Life-Long-Learning tendency. What have you done during this term in this area, i.e., what particular question(s) (outside of class-work) engaged you to the point of further research and thinking? Do you think this tendency will continue? However, if you are not thinking, please think about it and explain why not.

3.) Philosophy and History are two closely related disciplines. How has the integration of them helped you in your pursuit of higher education? Please feel free to emphasize one discipline over the other, if that truth moves you. Neither of us will be hurt. Too much...

4.) To the point of 'Learning Community' -- how has this worked for you? What intellectual discussions and relations have begun to develop? What problems can we (Michael and Michael) address to make the Community better? Describe the best part(s) of it for you.

I know you can write a great deal on each of these questions, and time is limited. So focus, write, think, and forget about time!

Thank you very much for your help.
