teaching statement

My teaching philsophy focuses on helping students cultivate a sense of engagement and develop as independent learners. Usually, this takes place through lots of writing and by challenging students to exceed their own expectations. Ultimately, I'm hoping students discover their own voice, one that truly reflects who they are as writers, speakers, and thinkers.
