HONORS
Westminster College's Honors program provides approximately 110 students (about 5% of the undergraduate student body) with an enhanced learning experience through a series of intensive, team-taught, interdisciplinary seminars. Those seven classes replace the standard Liberal Education classes taken by all undergraduates.
Honors also exists as a full-blown learning community in which students have many learning opportunities outside of the classroom, including meetings with visiting speakers, special mentoring by faculty, support for research, travel opportunities, and a wide range of social events, many of which take place in the program's own building. Entry into the program is competitive and by application.
