Classification:
Rainbow Trout, (Oncorhynchus
mykiss), do not have specific color markings on their bodies that can
be used to identify them like the Bonneville Cutthroat Trout. Each Rainbow
Trout has his or her own individual markings. But commonly among all
Rainbow trout, during the time of reproduction (spring), a red or pink
stripe on their body appears.
