Brief history:
The Rainbow trout are not a species
native to Utah. They are only native to the fresh water streams of the
Pacific coast North America. These fish have been introduced to every
state throughout North America. They have also been introduced in areas
throughout Canada and Mexico. It is a very popular species with anglers
because its spectacular leaps from the water, and its ability to fight
against the fisherman on the other end of the line.
