Project Proposal: the Guidelines for Getting
Social Science Club to Work on Your Project

Have a great idea for an event?  Know of an area of great need?  That's what Social Science Club is here for.

In order to make your idea or concern clear and concise, please fill out the following form and bring it to a club meeting.  After you deliver your proposal, we will have some forum time to for questions, to brainstorm, and to discuss the viability of the project.  Printing a few copies (about 10) of your project proposal form for helps with discussion and later research.  At a minimum, print one copy for club records.  We keep all postponed project proposals on file for future work.

Presenter:  Joe
Phone number and email:  (303) 555-2468, joe@yahoo.com
1.  Children in Duk Padiet, Sudan need our help building a school.

2.  The Second Sudanese Civil War left large groups of orphaned children living in poverty.  Education is their best hope for breaking the cycle of genocide which grips that region.

3.  - They need a school building.
     - They need books and supplies.

4.  I want to organize a marathon type fundraiser in which participants find sponsorship for a variety of athletic events to raise money to build the school and buy the books and supplies.  I have a reliable contact who will be traveling to the school site to help teach this June who we can send the funds with.
